UNDP Accelerator Lab India connects innovators with experts in a one-of-its-kind matchmaking event    

UNDP India launched its Accelerator Lab, with the objective of finding 21st century solutions to the complex new challenges of the modern world and accelerate progress in meeting the ambitious Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In keeping with the spirit of innovation and inquiry that characterizes the Accelerator Labs, UNDP Accelerator Lab India organized the #DateForDevelopment – a one-of-its-kind matchmaking event, aimed at connecting local innovators with development practitioners to deepen their development solutions and find opportunities to scale up their impact.

In addition to partnerships with the Federal Republic of Germany and the State of Qatar, UNDP has also created partnerships with Italy’s Ministry of Environment, Land and Sea Protection, Nesta, MIT, Atal Innovation Mission (NITI Aayog) and the India-based Honeybee Network. The partnership with the Honeybee Network is aimed at developing innovative solutions from the grassroots, for the grassroots. The lab is collaborating to shape up inclusive innovation policy work, and is seeking additional partners and investment to test and grow a variety of solutions that match the aspiration of the SDGs.
