Call for Entries: Heroes of Himalaya

UNDP India invites you to share your conservation experiences and success stories in high-range Himalayan ecosystems, home to the magnificent snow leopard. The competition is a part of the SECURE Himalaya project. More information on the project can be found here.

We invite you to send your entries in the following categories:

·      Conservation and/or Human-Wildlife Conflict

·      Creating & Enhancing Sustainable Livelihoods

·      Capacity Building and Generating Awareness

·      Open category: Your contribution to high-range snow leopard ecosystems in the Himalayas (e.g., illegal wildlife trade, climate change adaptation, or any other category).

Theme: Best practices in conservation, livelihoods, capacity building, and awareness in high-range Himalaya

Prizes for each category:

First Prize: Cash Prize INR 1,00,000
Second Prize: Cash Prize INR 50,000
