Delhi Sustainable Development Summit (DSDS), organized annually since 2001, is an international platform for exchange of knowledge on all nuances of sustainable development. The 13th Delhi Sustainable Development Summit, supported by UNDP, aimed to provide feasible solutions to many critical challenges facing the global community. UNDP’s participation at the summit included: Thematic Consultation on Energy: Post-2015 Development Agenda and the Energy Future We Want for All, Employment Growth and Benefits of Green Economy, Governance and Management Challenges in Water Use Efficiency

The report highlights key messages from a consultation on the role of energy in the post-2015 development agenda, part of a set of consultations that are taking place across the globe on the post-2015 development agenda. The consultation supported by the United Nations aimed to facilitate an open dialogue with stakeholders on how issues of energy can be effectively integrated into the post-2015 global development agenda.
