Rebeca Grynspan, UNDP Associate Administrator meets Kishore Chandra Deo, Minister of Tribal Affairs and Panchayati Raj

Rebeca Grynspan, UN Under-Secretary-General and UNDP Associate Administrator is on nine-day mission to India between 10-18 October 2012.

During the meeting, Minister Kishore Chandra Deo said that he was looking forward to a five-year partnership with UNDP and technical assistance on issues of tribal development.

About Rebeca Grynspan

Rebeca Grynspan was appointed by Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to the position of UN Under-Secretary-General and UNDP Associate Administrator effective 1 February, 2010. Before joining the United Nations, Ms. Grynspan was elected Vice-President of Costa Rica from 1994 to 1998.

Increasing Access to Justice for Marginalized People (September 2008 - December 2017)

In partnership with the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, the project focuses on strengthening access to justice for the poor by developing strategies that address barriers to accessing justice in legal, social, economic and political domains.
