All members can contribute to the Update. It also contains queries and discussions which have been concluded, consolidated replies issued and invites members to respond to ongoing discussions in the community.

  • Women's Voices: Employment and Entrepreneurship In IndiaThe report maps the workforce participation and aspirations of young women and girls from low income groups in and around four metropolitan cities of India and determines the barriers they face in realizing their aspirations. It also identifies the role of stakeholders – government, local industries and skill development agencies - in bridging the gap between women’s aspirations and the opportunities in the market.

  • Financial Inclusion of Excluded Segments - Learning from Experience Delivery of Financial Services to People with DisabilitiesThe case study focuses on the unique initiative in India undertaken by the Center for Financial Inclusion at Accion International in partnership with v-shesh Learning Services Pvt. Ltd. and three Micro Finance Institutions (MFI) of India (Annapurna Microfinance Private Ltd., Evangelical Social Action Forum and Equitas Micro Finance Pvt. Ltd.) on financial inclusion of People with Disabilities (PwD). It provides valuable lessons to the microfinance industry on understanding the needs and aspirations of PwD and how a few conscious methodology changes by MFIs can go a long way in assisting the financial inclusion of PwD.

  • Knowledge Digests of the Consolidated Replies of the Microfinance Community, Solution ExchangeThe Knowledge Digests is an attempt to address the need for compilation of the Consolidated Replies around six common themes and to provide a single source access to all the CRs. The Digest presents an overview of the discussions held within the Community on various themes. The Microfinance Community of Solution Exchange has issued about 134 knowledge products till August 2014 in the form of Consolidated Replies (CRs) to queries. The topics under every theme is bookmarked in the contents list to make it user friendly and provide a direct access to the specific CR.
