In addition, the report serves as a useful guide to identify focus areas to accelerate progress towards achieving MDGs 3 and 6 by 2015.

    The report documents the life of sex workers through a collection of photographs taken by them. Every picture, besides depicting the many layered interactions sex workers have with their surroundings, also reflects the social stigma that is attached to sex work. more info


UNDP India supports government’s efforts to reduce HIV/AIDS amongst vulnerable groups and uphold the rights of the marginalised, including sexual minorities and people living with HIV. We also work to address socio-economic, cultural conditions and norms that influence the drivers of the HIV epidemic.
